New Year, New Changes
Every New Year that we are lucky enough to experience is often filled with many well wishes from people all around us. We receive well wishes from our family, friends, and even strangers. It is not uncommon to be frequently asked about what your New Year resolutions are. While asking my husband that very question this morning, he stated that he did not have a New Years resolution, but instead has lifestyle changes that he is going to implement.
His response was refreshing because we often get so caught up in making a resolution that we lose sight of the fresh start that a new year provides. There will undeniably be people that make resolutions to lose weight, quit smoking, and spend more time with their family, in addition to saving and investing their money wisely. I challenge you to make positive lifestyle changes this year. One of the most important changes that should be made each New Year is to surround yourself with people that genuinely want the best for you and wish you well, throughout the year and not just on January 1st.
